"I grew up in the neighborhood below the glens. My friends and I would walk up the crick (yes we called it that) and catch crayfish, bring a sandwich or snack and pick whatever spot we wanted. Spent hours up there, almost every day"

"I worked there in 1970-1974 and one day a deer crashed through a window in our building and landed on some guy's desk, then proceeded to run down the halways before he was stopped. We were right at the base of a wooded area and saw many deer and wildlide. Such happy memories. Been retired since 1989."

"I grew up hanging out there and walking up the stream. It's a beautiful place and no one should ever harm it in any way. You destroy that place and you destroy something that has brought a lot of people a lot of joy and peace. It's unthinkable to me. Those were times I will always cherish. That place should be preserved and shared with out children who need some peace and beauty right about now."
