Save Penrhos

Penrhos nature reserve is facing threats of deforestation and destruction also the fall of of a AONB ( Area Of Natural Beauty).

What we are doing

We have decided to run for 20 miles total in the month of Aprill to raise funds to go towards the purchase and long term stewardship of Penrhos nature reserve, for the community in perpetuity, and most importantly to raise public awareness about the importance of Penrhos woodland to the community and young people. The money will go towards Save Penrhos Community Nature Reserve, which is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) .We will also, on nice days sell cakes that are homebaked and also sell our highest quality 3 d prints

Our story and reason

We are 11 and 12 year old and we love going to Penrhos forest for walks for swims for beach days for fun for bird spotting and most of all for the wildlife so when our mums told us about the plan that is being proposed we knew we had to do something about it and so we are and that is our reason and story thank you!❤
