Paper Plate Project Parties

3/25 @ Shoreline Cooperative Preschool 2:00-4:00 PM

3/28 @ South Tacoma Library 3:30-5:30 pm

3/28 @ Lacey Library 5-6pm 

Please create advocacy plates with your children and help us collect as many as possible from every classroom.

How to participate:

1. Take a paper plate and add your child’s handprint on one side

2. Across the plate write:
   “It Takes a Village to Raise a Child. Save the Parent Education Program.”

3. On the front of the plate, write the name of one of your legislators (Representative, Senator, or the Governor).
   Use the link provided to find your elected officials. https://app.leg.wa.gov/districtfinder

4. On the back of the plate, write a personal message about why Parent Education and cooperative preschool matter to your family.

Each family can make one plate or several. Remember, each of us has:

• Two State Representatives

• One State Senator

• One plate for the Governor

So you can create 3–4 plates if you'd like.

When your plate is finished, please give it to your co-op teacher or class chair, or bring it directly to our Press Conference on April 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The location will be announced soon.
