Kim Kota is a native to Georgia and a local Realtor with Atlanta Communities in Alpharetta, GA. She has a passion for the American Wild Mustangs and is the proud owner of Hank, a 10 year old South Steens mustang from Oregon. Kim learned to ride horses as an adult and has enjoyed hitting the trails for almost 10 years now.
Kim's has a love for our Veterans. Her grandfather from her father's side was a World War II Veteran. He lived in Maine and served in the Army. He passed away almost 30 years ago, but Kim enjoyed the time she got to spend with him hearing all of his stories and snowmobiling in the snowy fields at his home in La Grange, Maine.
When Kim started Kim Kota Cares real estate over 7 years ago, she committed to giving back with every commission check she earned to local non profits. Some of the causes she has given back to include wild horse rescue, dog/cat rescue, Christmas toy drives for foster kids, cancer research, church outreach programs, food banks, human trafficking programs, human rights groups, and several others. After 3 years, she became an advocate for the preservation of the American Wild Mustang horse. After learning how theses amazing animals have helped so many Veterans who are dealing with post traumatic stress and other mental challenges, she founded Friends of the Mustang Horse and our American Heroes, a 501(c)3 non profit organization located in Canton, GA. The Save A Mustang Save A Vet programs offered through this organization connects Veterans with these mustang horses for therapeutic healing.
Kim is married to her husband Krishen of 20 years and together they have 1 daughter. She lives in Canton, GA, and enjoys horseback riding, exercising, gardening, and cooking.
