Brief Bio
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), affiliated with CyStar – the Centre for Cybersecurity, Trust, and Reliability. I work with Prof. John Augustine in the DisTrA (Distributed Trust and Algorithm) Lab. In 2023, I completed my PhD in Message Efficient Fault-Tolerant Distributed Computations at Cryptology and Security Research Unit, Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata in the field of distributed computing under the supervision of Dr. Anisur Rahaman Molla.
Research Interest
My research focuses on designing and analyzing efficient distributed algorithms. I am especially interested in studying agent-based models and message-passing models in distributed networks. In the agent-based model, my contributions address problems such as dispersion, leader election and other graph related problems, analyzing their round and memory complexity. Meanwhile, in the message-passing model, my research tackles fundamental problems such as leader election, agreement, and data download, evaluating both message and round complexity in fault-tolerant networks.
