About the SAUA

The San Angelo Umpire Association (SAUA) was founded in 1996 by a small group of umpires who had a love for the game of baseball and a desire to see student athletes receive quality officiating. Since its inception, the SAUA has grown from officiating games solely in San Angelo, to servicing many schools around the Concho Valley and its surrounding areas. We remain passionate about the game of baseball, the application of the rules, and the experience and growth of the student athletes.
The SAUA is a sanctioned by the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) and the University Interscholastic League (UIL), and operates under the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) ruleset.
We are always looking for great men and women who share a love for the game of baseball, and desire to see its student athletes grow and mature throughout their high school career.
