I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in experimental physics at Ariel University, Israel. I earned my Ph.D. from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS ), Kolkata, in 2024.
I completed my B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Calcutta (Vidyasagar College) (2012–2015), followed by an M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (2015–2017).
During my PhD, I developed expertise in single-crystal synthesis via Chemical Vapor Transport and low-temperature electrical and magnetic characterization using PPMS and cryostat systems (down to 1.5 K, up to 7 T). In my postdoc, I expanded into advanced optical spectroscopy — operating and optimizing Raman, THz, and FTIR setups with temperature and field control to study 2D quantum materials.
Outside of Research, I like to play Volleyball and cricket, and I love exploring different places and meeting people.
