SATREPS stands for Science And Technology REsearch Partnership for Sustainable development.

SATREPS is a JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) program for research project targeting global issues and involving partnerships between researchers in Japan and developing countries.

SATREPS-MARTEST project

"The Project for Establishment of a Research and Education Complex for Developing Disaster-resilient Societies – Martest" is technology and science transformation project from Japan to Turkiye.  The project is supported by Japanese and Turkish governmental agencies of Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japan Science and Technology Agency and Turkiye Presidency of Strategy and Budget. 

MARTEST project lead by Kagawa University (Japan) and Gebze Technical University (Turkiye) started on June 2023 and is expected to complete on June 2028.
