Let me begin by congratulating the ICSE/ISC class 2023 for their outstanding results! You will see the details on the first page of this newsletter. We rejoice at the strong performances of ICSE students with an all-time high score (99%) and ISC across both streams, with some outstanding individual performances. We acknowledge and appreciate the philanthropic efforts of our teaching faculty, multi-level leaders, administrators, supportive staff, and the compassionate support of the families who inspired our learners toward a path to success. Congratulations to our students who produced outstanding results! Prayers and blessings on you as you choose your dream education path and apprenticeships! We are confident they are on the course to excel in the future. We are incredibly proud that they have made remarkable academic achievements and progressed into outstanding young people.
Moving to other aspects of school life, the academic year 2023 began with a teacher orientation program conducted by a group of professionals from Bangalore. Through this seminar, we have begun implementing several aspects of NEP (National Education Policy 2020). In addition, the newly appointed FLN (Functional Literacy and Numeracy) coordinator ensures proper implementation of FLN in classes from Nursery to Class IV. We aim to move from rote learning to conceptual learning through these initiatives. A newly added feature to our academic sector is availing worksheets and mock tests to our students on digital platforms, thus ensuring that the Council, the school administration, the teachers, the parents, and the students are all on the same page.
As you browse through the pages of this newsletter, you will see the activities and programs we had in the school. As I said, we have uploaded many photos for you to view. We began the academic session with three bagless days, aiming to build relationships and ensure a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning.
We are halfway through the academic year and at the threshold of the half-yearly examination, I wish all our students have stress-free study time and exams.
Likewise, I want all our Satgamaya readers a happy reading. God bless Holy Cross!
