What we do

The Saskatchewan Orff Chapter is part of the National Association of Carl Orff Canada.  Our goal is to provide it's members high quality professional development opportunities in the philosophy of Music Education of Carl Orff.

Song, dance, movement, creation, and improvisation are all elements of the Orff philosophy.  The combination of these elements creates a musical experience that is unique and wonderous.

Our Professional Development Workshops have evolved through the years.  For the past three years we have combined our energy with the Saskatchewan Music Educators Association in presenting the Saskatchewan Music Conference held in November typically.  This partnership has enabled us to bring World Class Clinicians to our province.  We look forward to continuing this partnership.

We continue to hold a January Members Social and June Members Social.

Our founding member is Colette Bischoff and we thank her for her vision and dedication to the Orff philosophy.  We applaud her for many years of advocacy and dedication to music education in Saskatchewan.
