Global Support Center
Requirement
Expand the existing shared support center from Cochin to additional locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune.
Leverage existing Offshore Development Center (ODC) networks by extending them to a Global Hub.
Solution Summary
Interconnectivity VRF Grid: A Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) grid to be provided by the Telco
Multi-Customer Connectivity: Multiple customers to be connected to the grid through dedicated segments.
MPLS VRF Interface: Create an MPLS VRF interface between Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune locations.
L3 Switch Deployment: Use a dedicated Layer 3 switch with VRF Lite support at each new location.
VRF Lite Configuration: Configure VRF Lite on switches to segregate customer segments for enhanced security.
WAN MPLS CPE Setup: Ensure a free port on the WAN MPLS Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) device to connect with the Layer 3 switch using copper links.
Customer ODC VLAN Integration: Extend the respective customer ODC VLAN to the dedicated Layer 3 switch at each project site.
Cochin Uplink Configuration: Establish a trunk uplink between the location’s Layer 3 switch and the Flex Center firewall to allow multiple ODC VLANs.
NAT Configuration on Firewalls: Implement source and destination-based Network Address Translation (NAT) on firewalls to manage traffic between ODC IP segments.
Firewall Deployment: Deploy a PA-500 firewall at every location to handle source and destination NAT for traffic segmentation.
