Overview: The "Flight Attendant Fatigue Awareness and Prevention" micro course is designed to provide flight attendants with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, mitigate, and prevent fatigue-related issues in their profession. This course aims to enhance flight attendants' understanding of the potential causes and consequences of fatigue, as well as equip them with strategies and techniques to manage and minimize its impact on their performance and well-being.
Problem: Address the lack of awareness and proactive measures to mitigate and prevent flight attendant fatigue. Many flight attendants may not fully understand the causes and consequences of fatigue or possess the necessary strategies to effectively manage it. This knowledge gap can lead to suboptimal performance, decreased alertness, and compromised safety in critical situations.
Solution: Empower flight attendants with the knowledge and skills to manage fatigue, optimize performance, and prioritize safety, fostering a culture of fatigue awareness and prevention while enhancing operational excellence.

I utilized the ADDIE model, encompassing Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, to create this course. By leveraging the dynamic and flexible nature of ADDIE, I ensured a comprehensive and effective design that addresses the needs of flight attendants in managing fatigue and promoting safety.
Project Management
For effective project management, I utilized Trello as my preferred tool to track and manage tasks throughout the duration of this project. The Trello Board provided a structured and organized approach to ensure efficient progress and completion of all project-related activities.
During a Scoping Meeting with SMEs, I conducted a Training Needs Analysis by:
Asking probing questions to define the scope of the training.
Seeking clarification on roles and responsibilities.
Setting clear expectations for the project.
Establishing realistic timelines for training development and implementation.
This information was utilized to create an effective training plan that addresses the identified needs of the target audience.
Design
I developed a Storyboard/First Draft using Word, which served as a visual representation of the course flow, including text, multimedia elements, and assessments. The SMEs reviewed and provided feedback on the Storyboard/First Draft, ensuring its accuracy and alignment with the course objectives.
Development
The course was developed as an instructor-led course using PowerPoint. To facilitate easy access, it was uploaded to Google Drive. Later, the PowerPoint presentation was converted into a video format using the built-in recording feature. The video was then further enhanced and edited in Premiere Pro to add visual effects, improve the overall quality, and ensure a professional look.
