Who are we?

We are an Independent Church based in the village of Crynant, Dulais Valley. Saron Chapel is where we meet for fellowship and regular worship. Our chapel was built in the year of the Great Welsh Revival of 1904 and has recently celebrated 120 years!

We are fully independent as a Church, however we are a member of the Union of Welsh Independent Churches which is a voluntary Union of around 300 churches. As a member of this Union we are part of a family/an association of around 30 other independent churches in the West Glamorganshire area and are seen as an 'excepted charity.'

What do we believe?

We believe that every Christian should have and feel the freedom to share their own story of faith in Jesus Christ through their own words and experiences.  At Saron we believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
