The Sargent Economic Development Committee [LB 840] is sponsoring the Entrepreneurial Community Activation Process (ECAP) in Sargent to help identify priorities and actions for the future. The ECAP process, led by Nebraska Extension, creates an opportunity for all community members to share their ideas on the future through a community-wide survey and a series of community conversations. The process is a holistic approach to help communities support growth by understanding their unique characteristics, community assets, and potential opportunities.

Sargent residents have something incredible to celebrate! The Sargent ECAP Survey closed on October 15, 2025, with an outstanding 90+% response rate—more than double what most communities achieve in the participation process. This exceptional turnout shows just how much Sargent residents care about their community's future and want to be part of shaping it. Join us on Dec 4 to set action-oriented goals around the priorities discussed on Nov 13. Bring a friend, especially those interested in taking action on one of the four priority areas discussed under the Nov 13 Community Survey Results.
