Yes! Results will be shared during Community Conversation #2 on February 13th. We encourage you to join at that time to discuss the results in more detail. Full results will be posted on the home page following Conversation #2.
The best way is to join us during the Community Conversations. You can also join an action team once formed and jump in on turning the priorities into reality.
That's okay! Join us when you are able, even if that's only one or two conversations. A summary of the discussion will be posted on the website a few days following each Conversation so you can follow along!
We don't want to give it all away, but you can expect conversations around identifying current assets of Gibbon, how to capitalize on those assets and improve the community, what priorities Gibbon should focus on first, and how you can play a role in making Gibbon a great place to live, work, and play. At the final Conversation, action plans will be developed and community members will be tasked with bringing those plans to life. We encourage you to share your unique perspective and ideas!
Following the Community Conversations, action plans will be put into place. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in making those plans a reality, even if you weren't able to join the Conversations. A Community Action Forum will be hosted at a later date to update the community about progress on the action plans. Reach out to the Steering Committee to see how you can play a role.
Nebraska Extension will be following up with Gibbon for at least 1 year and providing support and additional resources for projects as needed.
