SERVICES HELD AT HOME NEAR POLK STATION ON TUESDAY

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Alex Hood, 66, who died at his home near Polk Station Monday afternoon.

The services held at the home were in charge of the Rev. L. R. Niell, and burial took place in Sardis Cemetery near Polk.

He is survived by three brothers, Hugh, George, and William Hood, all of near Polk. The arrangements were in charge of the White-Mahon funeral home of Troy.
