Teaching is an important and integral part of my professional role. I believe that every student requires guidance to direct their learning and develop clarity in understanding, particularly in clinically oriented disciplines. Through teaching, I aim to share my practical experience in a simplified and meaningful manner, helping students bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.
Effective teaching, in my view, is personalized and learner-centered. Students differ in their cognitive development and learning pace; therefore, I adapt my teaching approach to suit individual needs. I focus on simplifying complex concepts and presenting them in a structured way that promotes understanding rather than rote memorization.
I measure my effectiveness as a teacher by my students’ ability to apply knowledge and critically question what they learn. When students demonstrate reasoning, problem-solving, and clinical judgment, it reflects successful teaching. Assessment of learning should extend beyond examinations, and I place strong emphasis on hands-on skills and practical application in real-life scenarios.
My goal for students is to develop a strong foundation in the basics and the confidence to apply their knowledge appropriately when required. By mastering fundamental principles and learning how to use them effectively, students are better prepared for independent learning and professional practice.
