The Saraland Sound is made up of several staff members who work to make sure that all of our students have a quality music education that they can be proud of! We primarily divide our staff up by directors and instructors.
The Saraland Sound is made up of several staff members who work to make sure that all of our students have a quality music education that they can be proud of! We primarily divide our staff up by directors and instructors.
Our directors are the full time staff members in Saraland City Schools who work day in and day out to bring new ideas to the table to further the music education of all Saraland students. Our directors have credentials from several different educational institutions that allow them to create synthesized ideas and techniques that are unique to Saraland!
The instructors at Saraland are musicians that are paid hourly to come work with our students to promote growth and development. These are some of the most important people to our band program because they work in the trenches to help ensure that our students possess the fundamental skills required to tackle music in an efficient and educational manner. We have an instructor for each of our instrumental sections in the band program as well as a color guard instructor responsible for ensuring the success of our color guard during both the fall and spring semesters.
