MATH 1040: Precalculus and Introductory Differential Calculus
This class focused on relevant precalculus and algebra review, limits, continuity and introduction to differential calculus.
STAT 2300: Statistical Methods I
This course covers fundamental principles and techniques of statistical inference, including data organization and presentation, elementary probability, measures of central tendency and variability, significance testing, sampling methods, as well as simple linear regression and correlation analysis. Emphasis is placed on the significance of statistics in research interpretation and its broad applicability across various fields. Utilization of statistical microcomputer software is integrated into the coursework.
COMM 2500: Public Speaking
This course taught practical instruction in public speaking; practice in the preparation, delivery, and criticism of short speeches. This course helped me developed an understanding and knowledge of the process of communication.
SOC 2010: Introduction to Sociology
This course focused on Sociological perspective delves into examining present-day groups, organizations, and societies through the lens of human social behavior, shifts in societal dynamics, the arrangement of social systems, and the functioning of social institutions.
LS 2780: Wilderness First Aid
The Wilderness First Aid with Adult CPR course offered by the American Red Cross equips students engaged in outdoor pursuits with the expertise and abilities necessary to anticipate, identify, and administer basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses in settings where advanced medical assistance may be delayed or unavailable.
