Using the virtual reality platform Spatial, this exhibit showcases how Virtual Reality can help improve the quality of life for the elderly and those with limited mobility issues.
Virtual reality (VR) is a valuable tool for UX design. It immerses users in realistic virtual environments, allowing designers to gain insights into user behavior and preferences. It provides a deeper understanding of spatial relationships and enables the creation of intuitive and engaging experiences.
This was a really fun social media campaign. I got the idea from my Emerging Learning Technologies class, where we tried out different platforms for using VR. This space was created using Mozilla Hubs. On this platform I was able to host virtual tours & conduct giveaways to those tho joined from their web browser or VR headset.
As more education continues to grow online, there is a shift from teacher-centered to learner-centered environments. Students learning from a screen need to find different ways to keep them engaged. In this short course, the learner will understand how Google Sites can maximize their learning experience by simply creating content.
In May of 2022, I received the Award for Outstanding Media Production for the Fall 2021 & Spring 2022 Semesters.
My VR Exhibit was recognized by staff across SUNY Potsdam at The School of Education & Professional Studies Honors Convocation Ceremony. (pictured right)
