WRITING

As part of my work for the UNLimted Sports Experience Lab in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications, I wrote feature stories, game articles, photo essays, and more.

In the Fall of 2022, I was a beat reporter for the Daily Nebraskan, which is the student newspaper on UNL campus. I covered home and away games for the Husker Volleyball team. I wrote game articles, previews, and takeaways. 

During my last semester, I was in the Senior capstone class, which focused on sports writing. I wrote a variety of feature stories that were published on the UNLimited Sports site.

The summer following graduation, I freelanced for Sports Illustrated. I was a writer for the Softball on SI Page, covering a variety of stories from game recaps to transfer portal updates and coaching changes.
