Reflection
From this course, I was able to demonstrate my learning outcomes by demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the structure and function of the human body by correctly fitting adaptive equipment and splints to the human body. This was seen when engaging in creating custom hand and wrist orthotics, ensuring all expectations of the custom fit were met to ensure functional mobility. I was able to demonstrate the ability to adapt/modify environments and processes and/or use of adaptive equipment to allow meaningful performance of ADL and IADL by a client. This was performed when understanding how to use adaptive equipment when following different types of precautions. Lastly, I demonstrated Exhibiting the ability to communicate and collaborate with groups and individuals. This was performed during the Halloween practical when engaging with clients and finding ways that best fit their needs with the use of collaboration.
