In 2014 I was awarded the Knowles Teaching Fellowship from the Knowles Teacher Initiative. The Knowles Teaching Fellowship is a five-year program that supports early-career STEM teachers through professional development, mentorship, and a national network of educators. The Knowles Teacher Initiative aims to improve education for all students by empowering math and science teachers as collaborative, innovative leaders. I continue my work now as a Senior Fellow engaging in leadership committees around professional learning, coaching early career teachers, and peer advising educator writing.
