Service

From Fall 2023 to Spring 2025, I served as the Pharmacology & Toxicology Student Representative on the RKCCOP Graduate Student Council, serving as President for 1 year. During my time on the Council, we increased student community  through programming focused on student engagement and professional development.

Throughout my program, I made it a mission to help the students in classes following mine. Senior graduate students in my program were pivotal to my integration into the department, and I wanted to serve in that role for students following me. I helped with a variety of events including interview weekends, orientation events, student panels, and mentoring.

A core value of mine is giving back to my communities. I have volunteered with the Southern Arizona American Chemical Society chapter, with Letters to a Pres-Scientist, and with Skype a Scientist to name a few.
