I was most recently employed as a Pupil Premium Teacher, where I taught many small intervention groups, especially in Maths and English. I underwent training for Read Write Inc, and instigated programs in Project X-Code, Bear Necessities and Rapid Write. These helped children develop confidence and skills in phonics, reading, writing and comprehension. I completed courses in First Class for Number and Success at Arithmetic and have also followed a Mathematics Mastery program. These courses use a variety of resources and approaches to make maths accessible and fun. In the classroom, I was able to explain new concepts and methods in clear and interesting ways.
