Call for contributions

We invite researchers to submit short papers presenting preliminary results, ongoing works, and demos relevant to the topic of the workshop. The papers will be reviewed by the organizers and acceptance will be based on the quality of the contribution, originality, and relevance to the topics of interest of the workshop.

All accepted contributions will be presented as posters during the interactive sessions.

Topics of interest

  • Trust in shared autonomy robotic systems

  • Role adaptation in shared autonomy HRI

  • Robot behavior adaptation and personalization

  • Lifelong learning and long-term interaction

  • Shared control and shared autonomy methods

  • Human-robot mutual adaptation

  • Human intention recognition and prediction

  • Control methods for shared autonomy

  • Shared autonomy for human-robot coexistence, collaboration, and/or physical interaction

  • Evaluation and benchmarking of shared autonomy methods

  • Trust and adaptation in HRI applications

    • Industrial settings

    • Medical environments

    • Rehabilitation

    • Domestic environments

Theoretical work, as well as experimental validations on robotic manipulators and mobile robots, are of great interest to the workshop. The main criterion is that shared autonomy for physical human-robot interaction is discussed in the proposed workshop putting particular emphasis on adaptability and trust.
