Bell peppers

Some of the nutrients contained in bell peppers are thiamin, niacin, folate, magnesium and copper. They are a very good source of fibre, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin B6, Potassium and Manganese. They are also packed with silicon, which is wonderful for hair, nails and skin.

#Fun fact: Did you know that bell peppers stop ripening once they're picked and the different colours are just different stages of ripeness? They all start as green, but the yellow, red and orange peppers are more nutritious than green peppers. But even still, a green pepper contains more vitamin C than an orange! They are actually a fruit, not a vegetable (think of the seeds again).
