Who is the Candidate Mentor, and what does she do?
The Candidate Mentor is a sister in good standing who has been an active sister for a full semester prior to her running. The term for the Candidate Mentor's office is one year, but she may run for another term if she wishes.
The Candidate Mentor:
Trains the new member candidates in the fundamentals of Sigma Alpha Omega, the traditions of our sisterhood, and our National Organization.
Serve as chairwoman of the Candidate Committee
Choose a suitable Big Sister mentor for each new member candidate
Ensures that at no time hazing is imposed on the candidates nor any illegal activities be conducted as part of the candidate process.
Ensures that Sigma Alpha Omega is in compliance with all Western Carolina University policies at all time concerning it's membership candidates
Train her successor
