Welcome to Sisterhood established through Christ
In the spring of 2005, we were founded as the Nu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Omega at Western Carolina University
We are a Christian social sorority. We host many different events and activities throughout the semester! We plan various Bible Studies to spiritually feed our sisters throughout the semester. We host fun social events to bond with other sisters, such as movie nights, craft nights, dinner nights, study socials, semi-formal in the fall and formal in the spring. We also have a sisterhood retreat each semester!
Sisters are also given the opportunity to participate in various service events throughout the year to help us give back to the community around us and fundraisers to help us keep growing so we can continue to help others.
What sets us apart?

We regularly participate in service events and raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Awareness
We are the only Christian Sorority at Western Carolina University
As a non-denominational Soririty, we all Christian women in their own personal faith walks
Our Purpose
To foster Christian beliefs and/or values in a Christ-centered organization in order to enjoy Christian fellowship, service, and social activities in accordance with the purpose of our national organization
