RULE BOOK
Current USGA rules will govern play except for the following exceptions:
The ball may be moved one club length, no closer to the hole, while maintaining the same conditions. (rough stay in rough, etc.) You cannot move the ball from the fringe onto the green.
Ball inside a bunker. You may lift the ball, rake the bunker, and then place the ball back INSIDE THE BUNKER.
All putts must be holed.
Out of bounds. A player MUST drop the ball within two club lengths of where the player thinks the ball crosses into out of bounds and no closer to the hole—one stroke penalty. A BALL OUT OF BOUNDS MAY NOT BE MOVED BACK INTO PLAY!
Lost Ball. A player suffering a lost ball may drop within two club lengths of the area the ball entered to be lost and no closer to the hole—one stroke penalty.
A ball may NOT be moved inside a clearly marked hazard. If the area is not marked with red/yellow stakes or paint, the ball is deemed in the hazard if it is touching the water.
14 Club rule has been waived.
If a player is unsure about a rule or how to proceed, he may always choose to play two balls and finish the hole and seek a ruling later. The player may also collaborate with his playing partners, and the group can decide how to proceed. Any decision made by the group is final.
If the course is open for play, then play will proceed. If the course closes after all players have completed at least nine holes, the round will stand, and all payouts will be made. If nine holes have not been completed, the WEATHER COMMITTEE will decide how to proceed with the following options. They may choose to refund each player their share of the day's purse or add it to the following day's purse. The Committee will also decide how to award the extra payouts.
Any winning player scoring better than two shots of their current handicap will have their handicap reduced by one stroke for the remainder of the tournament. Three shots better will result in a two-stroke reduction.
Double Bogey is the maximum gross or net score on any hole. Meaning, on a hole a player receives a handicap stroke, that player may make a triple bogey for a net double bogey.
A hole will be drawn upon arrival and used as a designated start hole for deciding all scorecard playoffs for entire tournament. In the event of a tie, the players involved may unanimously agree to split the money or a scorecard playoff will be used.
Teams will be drawn nightly before each round. All players are welcome to be present. You will not play with your 2 Man Team partner. Players will have at least one person they know in their foursome. Requests for a foursome will not be granted.
Scoring will be done after each round. Computer and manual calculations will be used to verify each team and individual score. One player from each team must be present during scoring and will certify their team's score.
