Our spinal fitness class is aimed at people experiencing back pain, wishing to avoid back pain or who simply wish to maintain a healthy spine.
Through a combination of strength training, movement, stretching, posture training and breathing exercises, our spinal fitness class aims to :
decrease pain
restore the natural joy of moving about
promote return to activity (work, daily life activities, sports...)
pass on principles, exercises and routines that are easy to replicate at home
have a fun time in good company!
Classes are given by a licensed physical therapist who also works at the CHIREC hospital's Ecole du dos (spine school).
