From July 2018 through August 2019, under Erich Brock's management, members of the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club constructed a HO/HOn3 model railroad layout that depicts the railyard as it was in Santa Fe circa 1938. Members of the Santa Fe club volunteered their time over a one year period working most Sundays. The railyard in 1938 served both the AT&SF and D&RGW railroads. The narrow gauge track represents the D&RGW Chile Line that ran between Antonito Colorado and Santa Fe. The Standard gauge track represents a branch of the AT&SF that ran from Lamy to Santa Fe. Most of structures were stratch built by members. The backdrops were also painted by a member. The photos below represent a small fraction of the work secessions nor do they adequately represent the effort made in building the structures, fabrication of the benchwork, or the painting of the backdrops.
