काव्यशास्त्रविनोदेन कालो गच्छति धीमताम्।

व्यसनेन तु मूर्खाणां निद्रया कलहेन वा॥२२॥

अन्वयः-

धीमताम् कालः काव्यशास्त्रविनोदेन गच्छति तु मूर्खाणाम् व्यसनेन निद्रया वा कलहेन ।

The time of the wise persons goes by the amusement in poetry and science. However, the time of the fools (goes) by vice, by sleep or by quarrel.
