(There is a hilarious blooper with Sharon before the show starts again where she starts talking before the conductor and band is ready and is stopped by a voice over the intercom.)

NOTES: Great quality audio from standing room at the back of the orchestra. They made an announcement about 5 minutes after the show was about to start that there were some difficulties. Another 15 minutes later it was announced Happy McPartlin would be going on as Diane. Sharon Wheatley fell and sprained her ankle running to places before the start of the show.

A fantastic performance from everyone, and a very vocal and appreciative audience (including a full 35-second applause after the opening number).

NOTES: Well, we sure did come from away. Featuring Geno Carr from the original Broadway cast, David Shannon from the original West End cast, James Kall from the original Toronto cast, Becky Gulsvig’s temporary return, and Happy McParlin from Broadway. This was the 700th performance of the tour. Due to COVID and CFA not casting enough people of color, Bob was played by Kilty Reidy, a white man so there were some line changes. Audio taken from second row so the sound quality is amazing. Unfortunately the guy behind me had a really loud and obnoxious laugh which is audible in the audio.
