Welcome to my Website! I am Sangram K. Jena, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Prior to joining UAF, I served as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Miami University and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at West Virginia University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
My research lies at the intersection of Theoretical Computer Science and Machine Learning, with a focus on designing efficient approximation and parameterized algorithms for graph-theoretical problems and exploring their real-world applications. I am also actively engaged in pioneering work on dataless neural networks for solving diverse combinatorial optimization problems.
