ResizeWorks: Image Resizer — Help and Support
Updated October 14, 2026
How do I save a resized photo?
Choose a photo from Photos or Files. In Exact size, choose its size and framing, then tap Preview result. In Fit Upload Limits, set maximum dimensions and, with Pro, a maximum file size, then tap Preview result. “Selected limits met” describes the prepared file, not guaranteed acceptance by a website. Aggressive compression can reduce detail. In Adjust framing, Preview opens an enlarged read-only view of the current framing; tap anywhere or Close to return without changing it. Check the finished preview, dimensions and file size. Save to Photos creates a separate copy after you allow the app to add photos. Share or Save to Files lets you choose another destination. Check that destination to confirm the file arrived.
The app processes the selected image on your iPhone and leaves the original unchanged. Cloud-backed Photos or Files items may need a connection to download. Free previews display “ResizeWorks Preview” as a display-only watermark; authorized exports, including free JPG exports, are clean. ResizeWorks Pro removes the preview watermark. Previewing or changing preview access uses no credit. An open preview is not a saved photo: save the finished copy before closing the app. Single-photo temporary results are not a permanent library. Pro can resize up to 20 selected photos sequentially. A paused multi-photo job can keep completed output copies and unfinished-item status across reopening; it never restarts automatically. Originals are not saved in recovery. After reopening, explicitly choose and confirm a replacement for each unfinished photo; the app does not assume it is the original. Save wanted copies externally before discarding recovery.
How do free exports and earned credits work?
The current app includes three free JPG exports, including social-media sizes. When optional rewarded ads are enabled and available, completing an ad can earn one additional JPG export. Rewarded-ad availability depends on your region, privacy choices, network connection and available inventory.
A new eligible free export uses one credit only after a successful save or completed share handoff. Preparation, preview, failed saves and canceled destinations use none. An unchanged completed result can be saved or shared again without another debit. Changing settings can create a new result; the app explains before export when a new credit applies. If external completion is uncertain, check the destination before retrying rather than blindly saving a duplicate. A share handoff confirms the receiving activity completed, not what that service subsequently stores or transforms.
Available free credits are used before earned credits. Balances and completed-result records are kept on this installation across ordinary app restarts. They are not an Apple purchase and Restore Purchases does not restore them. Cross-device transfer or recovery after deletion/reinstallation is not promised. Paid access does not spend these credits or require an ad.
An ad did not load, or my reward is missing
An unavailable ad, loading error or closing an ad before earning the reward does not use an export credit. Keep editing, use any existing credits, retry later, or use the existing Pro purchase option. Availability and duration are not guaranteed. No automatic courtesy credit is currently promised.
If the app says an earned export is waiting to be saved, use its retry-saving option in Settings and help; do not watch another ad for that reward. This recovery route remains available with Pro or when new ads are disabled. A reward is recorded once when the ad service reports it earned.
Where required and available, Settings and help → Ad privacy choices opens Google's consent options. Declining an ad does not remove existing credits or paid access. If choices cannot open, keep your work and try later; do not reset the app or buy again to troubleshoot. You may also be asked for Apple tracking permission before using rewarded ads. Declining tracking does not prevent use of ResizeWorks.
Do local photos mean no data leaves the phone?
Photo editing happens locally, but optional ads and consent services can send Google device, network, ad-interaction and diagnostic information. Eligible advertising partners can also receive ad-service information. There is no separate app analytics service; this does not mean the ad SDK performs no measurement. See the Privacy Policy: https://sites.google.com/view/sandyclauseproductions/snapsized-privacy for current service configuration and remaining limitations. No app account, tracking permission or another ad is needed merely to recover an already-earned local credit.
I paid, but the app is locked
Open the purchase screen and choose Restore Purchases while connected. Use the Apple Account used for the purchase; Apple may ask you to authenticate in its own sheet. Never email those credentials. Routine app refresh is separate from explicit Restore.
A pending approval or canceled/failed purchase is not a completed unlock. If a restore fails, keep the app installed, check the connection and retry. Do not buy again just to troubleshoot. If charged but still locked, contact support or follow Apple's purchase-restoration help: https://support.apple.com/en-us/108096.
What does ResizeWorks Pro include?
Every paid option provides the same included Pro tools while access is valid: unlimited outputs within normal device/resource limits, PNG, watermark-free previews, custom file-size limits, Saved Sizes and up to 20 photos together. Pro does not require watching an ad. Free users can use the included social-media sizes and their available JPG export credits.
Approved US launch prices are Monthly — $2.99 each month, Annual — $19.99 each year, and Lifetime — $59.99 once. Monthly and annual are recurring subscriptions; the annual amount is billed for the full year, not in monthly installments. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge. Available offers, actual localized prices and billing periods are shown by Apple before checkout; this page does not activate an offer.
Existing lifetime owners keep their purchased access regardless of the earlier price. There is no price-difference charge and no need to buy an equivalent subscription. Buying lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing subscription or promise a refund. Manage any subscription through Apple.
How do I manage a subscription?
Use Manage Subscription when shown, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel renewal there; deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancellation normally leaves the remaining paid period intact. Access ends at verified expiry unless another valid entitlement applies. Production billing grace remains disabled; no extra access period is promised after payment failure or expiry. See Apple's cancellation instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428.
A photo will not import or save
Check available device storage, allow a cloud photo to download, and try a non-sensitive smaller image. For a file-size error, reduce dimensions or increase the permitted limit where available; a limit is a maximum, not a guaranteed achievable size. If Photos access is denied, save through Files or review the app's Photos permission in iPhone Settings. Preserve any completed result before restarting. Avoid deleting/reinstalling the app as the first troubleshooting step because it can lose local work, settings and credits.
