ResizeWorks Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 27, 2026
Last updated: October 14, 2026
ResizeWorks: Image Resizer (ResizeWorks) is operated by Oscar Isaac Sandoval Jr., an independent developer using the studio name Sandy Clause Productions. Contact: sandyclauseproductions@gmail.com. You do not need to create an app account.
Photos and files
ResizeWorks processes the images you select on your iPhone. The app does not upload their contents to a developer server or give them to its advertising service. Selecting an image stored in iCloud or another file provider may cause that provider to download it to your device.
The app prepares new output copies rather than changing your original. Its JPG and PNG export pipeline does not copy the original EXIF or GPS metadata. A photo’s visible contents can still reveal personal information.
Prepared copies use temporary app storage. Cleanup is attempted when temporary work is discarded or on a later launch; iOS may remove temporary files sooner. One paused multi-photo job can retain completed output copies and job settings for recovery until that recovery is discarded or replaced. The app does not archive the selected original photos for that recovery.
Saving to Photos adds a copy with your permission. Files and Share send the prepared output to the destination you select. Those destinations may store or upload it under their own policies. Removing a temporary app file does not delete a copy already saved elsewhere.
Local settings, credits and purchases
Output settings, Saved Sizes, feedback preferences, credit balances, reward records and completed-result records are stored locally. A completed-result record uses a fingerprint of the input and settings to recognize the same output and avoid charging another credit. It is not a stored original photo. A pending reward record allows an earned export to be recovered if saving the credit fails.
These records persist across ordinary restarts without an automatic age-based deletion schedule. You can remove individual Saved Sizes. There is no separate in-app control to erase all credit and result records. Deleting the app can remove local records and lose credits; it does not delete saved destination copies, provider records or backups, and it does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Apple handles purchases, payment details and restoration. The app reads verified purchase status to provide access. It does not receive your payment-card number or Apple Account password, and the developer does not operate a separate purchase database. See Apple’s App Store privacy information: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/app-store/.
Optional advertising and privacy choices
Free users may choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn one extra export. Ad availability is not guaranteed. Google’s consent and advertising services may process service data as described below.
The reviewed ad configuration requests restricted, nonpersonalized ads, disables publisher first-party identifiers and publisher personalization, and turns off Google’s optional SDK crash-reporting feature. These settings do not turn off every identifier, measurement, diagnostic or security function, and nonpersonalized ads are not a guarantee of no tracking. The app has no separate developer analytics or crash-reporting service. When a Free user chooses to watch a rewarded ad, ResizeWorks may ask for Apple tracking permission for advertising measurement. It does not ask on app launch or ask known Pro users who will not use advertising. Apple tracking permission and Google’s privacy choices are separate decisions. Declining tracking does not prevent use of ResizeWorks or remove credits or features. Advertising may continue without IDFA where permitted by your other choices and applicable service requirements. Google documents that its Mobile Ads SDK does not send IDFA in ad requests when Apple tracking permission is denied. Giving permission does not change the app’s restricted, nonpersonalized ad-request policy.
Google’s consent and advertising services may process network information such as IP-derived approximate location, device/app identifiers, ad activity, interactions, performance and other diagnostics for consent management, delivery, measurement, security and service operation. Which information is processed depends on the service, configuration and choices. The exact Google Mobile Ads SDK manifest declares device identifiers linked to users and used for tracking. That declaration does not identify a particular identifier or show which configured uses actually occur. ResizeWorks requests Apple tracking permission contextually before eligible advertising use when the system decision has not yet been made. ResizeWorks does not use SDK data to advertise ResizeWorks or Sandy Clause Productions products or to send developer marketing communications. The exact SDK manifests declare performance diagnostics unlinked to the user and not used for tracking; this is a supplier declaration, not an observation of every transmitted diagnostic field.
The European message lists purposes and features registered by participating vendors. Those disclosures, including personalization and precise-geolocation references, are not a record of functions actually used by ResizeWorks. Accepting the message does not change the app’s restricted, nonpersonalized request settings. Google advises that restricted choices limit delivery to nonpersonalized or limited ads, with personalization and precise geolocation inactive for those choices.
Google provides the integrated consent and ad services. Advertising can involve eligible advertising providers or buyers as well as Google. An eligible-partner list is not a record of companies that received a particular request. Restricted data processing limits Google’s uses but does not extend Google’s promises to every other recipient.
Depending on your region and applicable requirements, Google’s consent messages may offer privacy choices. Where available, Settings and help → Ad privacy choices lets you review or change service choices. When the privacy and advertising service is available, consent information may be refreshed for free users and people who previously used the consent or ad service, including after they buy Pro. That consent-service contact is separate from showing an ad. Pro does not require watching an ad, and new ads are suppressed for users with confirmed Pro access. Buying Pro or changing a choice does not delete information already held by a provider.
An optional ad can be unavailable. This does not remove existing credits, edits or Pro access. An earned reward awaiting local recovery does not require another ad. You may use available exports, retry an ad later or use the existing Pro option.
Google explains its practices and retention at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention. Provider retention differs by service, purpose, security and legal requirements. We do not set a universal Google retention deadline or promise to delete records outside our control. Where applicable, use the provider’s privacy and rights routes as well as the app’s available privacy choices.
Support messages
Emailing support shares your sender address, message and any attachments you choose with the developer and the email providers involved, including Gmail. Only Oscar Isaac Sandoval Jr. accesses the studio support inbox. Please send the app/iOS version, device model, steps and redacted error information first. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or private photos by default.
We keep support messages and attachment copies while a case is open, then delete copies we control within 90 days after closure. We may retain the minimum information necessary for an unresolved dispute, fraud or security investigation, or a legal obligation, and review that need regularly. This support rule is separate from Google’s advertising, consent and email-provider retention. It does not erase independently held provider, recipient or backup records.
Other services and questions
Public help and privacy pages use Google Sites; its website processing is separate from on-device photo editing. User-selected cloud and sharing services, Apple and email providers apply their own policies. There is no Firebase SDK, developer photo backend or app account in ResizeWorks.
ResizeWorks is a general-purpose utility, not specifically directed at children. The planned initial App Store release is for the United States. A user’s current location may still affect the privacy choices a service requires.
Contact sandyclauseproductions@gmail.com for privacy questions or to request deletion of support copies we control. We can explain applicable limits, but cannot promise deletion of Apple’s, Google’s or another provider’s independent records. Check this page for policy updates.
