Padel

Sandwich Tennis Club is extending its floodlit clay and hardcourt tennis courts, to include Padel courts and a dedicated pickleball court.

At over 112 years old, Sandwich Lawn Tennis Club in Sandown Road is part of Sandwich’s cultural heritage and so to keep the club’s racquet sports facilities up to date, we are adding Padel.

Padel is a super-fun cross between tennis and squash, played on an enclosed court about a third the size of a tennis court. On the continent it is everywhere and the UK is rapidly catching up. Padel is easy to learn, appeals to all ages and is fun from the very first go. The sport tends to be very sociable and courts have glass walls, so are great for spectators too!

We’re hosting a GRAND OPENING in the Spring! In the mean-time we are releasing a limited number of super discounted pre-launch memberships which will include free unlimited Padel, Tennis and Pickleball.
