Little Wildlife Explorers is an initiative founded by Dr Sandra Tranquilli for children from 12 months to 6 years old. The main focus is to teach wildlife biology, life sciences, conservation, and in general on the importance of nature in our daily lives, and the impact of humans.
Little Wildlife Explorers mission is to:
- Engage children with nature in a proactive way, encourage their natural curiosity in biodiversity, its conservation and sustainability, develop their imagination and creativity through exploration and science activities.
- Develop children motor, social and emotional skills through creative group activities.
- Provide the opportunity to increase children awareness to be more eco-conscious.
- Encourage children to explore their senses (touch of natural materials, stimulation of colours and shapes and enjoy nature sounds).
- Help to build self-confidence, self-awareness and relationship with nature.
