Corporate Social Responsibility
The 2016 Creative and Critical Thinking (CCT) Camp, held by ASTI, provided a comprehensive experience in critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills for primary school students. This three-day camp, which took place at Nur Lembah Pangsun, Hulu Langat, involved 27 students in activities like fingerprint analysis, sensory exploration, and creative challenges. Each session aimed to enhance skills in logical reasoning, empathy, and creative expression.
Dr. Pratheep Sandrasaigaran was integral as a presenter, delivering sessions that engaged students in analyzing and synthesizing information critically. His involvement significantly enriched the camp's educational impact, inspiring participants to develop independent, creative thinking skills.

Held in collaboration with UMCares from the University of Malaya, this camp featured modules that promoted skills like logical reasoning, teamwork, and innovative thinking. Activities included logical puzzles, tinkering exercises, and a crime scene investigation simulation, which engaged participants and encouraged analytical thinking.
Dr. Pratheep Sandrasaigaran made significant contributions to the camp as a trainer, especially in sessions on Logical Thinking and Critical Thinking in Conversation, where he effectively engaged students in deep analysis and structured thinking, enhancing their learning experience and helping them develop valuable problem-solving skills.

The Young Inventors Journal (YIJ) Paper Writing Competitions in 2019, 2020, and 2021 were successful initiatives organized by ASTI and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) to encourage critical thinking and systematic problem-solving in young individuals. The 2019 competition, themed "How to Conserve and Save Water," held at White Box Publika in Kuala Lumpur, in 2020, "How to Rebuild a Better World Post Covid-19: Education" and 2021 “Reinventing A Better Future Post Covid-19 for Social Wellbeing & Mental Health” received enthusiastic responses, attracting participants from various regions and backgrounds
Dr Pratheep Sandrasaigaran played a pivotal role in both competitions. As Managing Editor of YIJ, he contributed to the editorial aspects and served as the Chief Judge in 2020 and 2021, conducting training for judges and overseeing the double-blind evaluation process. His guidance was instrumental in maintaining the competition's integrity and ensuring quality submissions. Dr. Pratheep's leadership and commitment to youth development were crucial in creating an impactful and enriching experience for participants, mentors, and judges.
