Teaching

I subscribe to the following axioms by Dr. Federico Ardila-Mantilla:

Axiom 1: Mathematical talent is distributed equally among different groups, irrespective of geographic, demographic, and economic boundaries.

Axiom 2: Everyone can have joyful, meaningful, and empowering mathematical experiences.

Axiom 3: Mathematics is a powerful, malleable tool that can be shaped and used differently by various communities to serve their needs.

Axiom 4: Every student deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

They form a core part of my teaching philosophy. Here is my teaching statement.

Teaching 

I am not teaching during Spring 2026. Past courses I taught are:

• Spring 2024-Fall 2025: Math 161 (Calculus 2) at CSU.

• Fall 2023: Math 127 (Pre-Calculus) at CSU.

• Fall 2020 - Fall 2022: Math 115 (Calculus 1) at the University of Michigan.
