I am an Economist and Engineer with nine years of experience in economic research and policy analysis.
I am currently on external service to the International Monetary Fund from the World Bank, that I joined in in 2021 as a Young Professional. In the institution, I have worked on operations and interdisciplinary analytical projects a the intersection of poverty, equity, development, environment, and climate.
Before joining the World Bank, I conducted research in India and led analytical work supporting public policy advice in South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa (United Nations ESCAP, Lebanese Center for Policy Studies, and World Bank). Earlier in my career, I gained firsthand experience of international trade in developing countries by working as a mechanic in China and a production manager in a garment factory in Cambodia.
