I am an Economist at the IMF, specializing in Development, Climate, Environment, and Health Economics. 

My research projects combine Economics with Natural Sciences to study human-environment interactions -from antibiotic resistance to resilience to natural disasters to forest degradation- with the goal of informing policymaking.

I am currently on external service from the World Bank, which I joined three years ago as a YP. There, I have worked on operational projects in the environmental sector and several interdisciplinary analytical projects, including the first Cambodia Country Climate and Development Report and a report analyzing the distributional consequences of air pollution in Georgia's capital.

Before joining the WB, I led analytical work supporting public policy advice in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (United Nations ESCAP, Lebanese Center for Policy Studies, and World Bank) and gained hands-on experience in developing countries by working as an Engineer in China and Cambodia and as a Researcher conducting fieldwork in India.

I hold a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, which builds on my double background in Engineering (MSc. Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris) and Economics (MPhil. Economic Research, summa cum laude from the University of Cambridge).
