I am an Economist at the IMF, specializing in Macrostructural issues, Development, Climate, and Health Economics.
My research projects combine Economics with Natural Sciences to study structural issues at the intersection of human and its environment, from innovation to climate change, with the goal of informing policymaking.
I am currently on external service from the World Bank, which I joined three years ago as a YP. There, I have worked on operational projects and several interdisciplinary analytical projects, including the first Cambodia Development Policy Financing Series and Country Climate and Development Report as well as a report that involved multiplying by four the number of air pollution monitor in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi.
Before joining the WB, I led analytical work supporting public policy advice in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (United Nations ESCAP, Lebanese Center for Policy Studies, and World Bank) and gained hands-on experience in developing countries by working as an Engineer in China and Cambodia and as a Researcher conducting fieldwork in India.
I hold a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, which builds on my double background in Engineering (MSc. Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Paris) and Economics (MPhil. Economic Research, summa cum laude from the University of Cambridge).
