Since its founding, Sandhills Machine has built a structured, mentorship-driven basketball program serving student-athletes in rural North Carolina. Over the past several years, we have:

• Established competitive travel teams that participate in high-level regional and certified events

• Created consistent access to NCAA Live Period competition for rural student-athletes

• Implemented academic accountability standards tied to program participation

• Provided financial assistance and transportation coordination to reduce participation barriers 

• Developed long-term relationships with families, schools, and community partners

• Maintained a mentorship-focused culture that emphasizes discipline, leadership, and character
