The SDMEA Elementary Honor Choir is a choir of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students who are chosen by recorded audition. Auditions are held in the spring for the following fall.

Due to the school closures across the state, the audition deadline will be pushed back from the original April 3 date, but we are unsure yet what exactly that will look like.
On my YouTube channel, I have three practice videos for students. The first is me being the student so they can sing along with me. The second will have a piano being the student. The third video will have empty space for the student to practice singing alone.
As we learn more and see what's happening, I will be in contact with SDMEA, Mr. James and Mr. Field to find the best way to record auditions. If one-on-one time is an option, we can do that. More likely, if we're not in school it means we do it over Zoom, but I think we could make that work.
