My name is Sanchita Chakraborty and I am a 1st year Applied and Computational Mathematics PhD student under Dr. Alan Lindsay at the University of Notre Dame on Mean First Passage Time Problems. Prior to this, I completed my MA in Mathematics at University of Wisconsin - Madison under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Luc Thiffeault. I am interested in Fluid Mechanics, Numerical Analysis, Financial Mathematics, and Applied PDEs.
