My name is Sanchita Chakraborty and I am a 2nd year Applied and Computational Mathematics PhD student and a Lucy Fellow under Dr. Alan Lindsay at the University of Notre Dame on Mean First Passage Time Problems. Prior to this, I completed my MA in Mathematics at University of Wisconsin - Madison under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Luc Thiffeault. I am interested in Fluid Mechanics, Numerical Analysis, Financial Mathematics, and Applied PDEs. I have interned at Fermilab, the Pacific Northwest National Lab, and the Center for Computational Biology at the Flatiron Institute.
