My name is Sanchita Chakraborty and I am a 3rd year Applied and Computational Mathematics PhD candidate and a Lucy Graduate Scholar under Dr. Alan Lindsay at the University of Notre Dame on Mean First Passage Time Problems. Prior to this, I completed my MA in Mathematics at University of Wisconsin - Madison under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Luc Thiffeault. I am interested in Fluid Mechanics, Numerical Analysis, SDEs, and Applied PDEs. I have interned at Fermilab, the Pacific Northwest National Lab, the Center for Computational Biology at the Flatiron Institute, and Lawrence Livermore National Lab.
