Meeting House Hill Road will be closed 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025!
If you need to make it to the Transfer Station on Saturday, July 12, you should avoid the town square from 10:30-11:30. If you're coming from the Bay side of town, you should follow the directions below. You can also join the tail end of the parade down Meeting House Hill Road (Currier Road will be one-way during the parade) as long as you roll down your windows, honk, and wave! :)
PLEASE LINE UP BY 10:45. THE PARADE IS AT 11.
Police, Selectman, Grand Marshals, Boston Post Cane Recipient, and Fire should line up starting at Bodwells' and continuing up Tower Hill.
Walkers should gather between Bodwells' and Sanbornton Central's front entrance (the sidewalk/curb).
Antiques and the band should pull into the turn around in front of Sanbornton Central School.
Horses and any other animals should be behind the walkers and antiques.
Large vehicles and floats should loop around the SCS parking lot perimeter that is across from the school. The perimeter will be coned off so that folks won't park there (that's for you). Please pull as far forward as you can when lining up and as far off the parking lot as you can to allow others to pass through if needed.
The parade will kick off at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 12. The parade will start at Sanbornton Public Library, go down Meeting House Hill Road, turn right onto 132 passing in front of the Fire and Police Stations and then round the corner back up Currier Road.
Along Meeting House Hill, in front of the Fire & Police Stations, and near the fire pond will all be good places to put your blankets or chairs to watch the parade.
Catch the shuttle to get to your spot by 10:45!
