Join our enthusiastic team of Head Lifeguards, Lifeguards, and Water Safety Instructors!

Head Lifeguards are responsible for fulfilling the duties of the manger in his/her absence including the daily operations. Lifeguards are responsible for rule enforcement, prompt recognition and response to emergencies in and around the water, and providing adequate surveillance to aquatic center patrons. Water Safety Instructors are responsible for the planning and instruction of swimming fundamentals and water safety topics. All applicants must have or plan to obtain a valid certification for the position(s) being applied for. Lifeguards have a minimum age requirement of 15 years of age. Water Safety Instructors have a minimum age requirement of 16 years of age.

Applications are accepted at the Sanborn City Hall or emailed to sanbornpool@gmail.

2016 In-Service Training

Our team undergoes frequent in-service training throughout the season to maintain proficiency in all skills. Partnering with local first responders, real life scenarios are practiced to ensure rapid, prompt care is provided.
