Micol Zhai

Co-Founder

My name is Micol Zhai and I am a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. I have been a member of the DVHS Model United Nations team since 2017 and I am now on the Varsity Roster. Through Model United Nations, I have met a myriad variety of people, all of whom I have been able to learn from. When I’m not teaching middle schoolers or prepping for MUN conferences, I figure skate and volunteer for the community. In the future, I want to pursue a career in law and public service.

Hi! My name is Tanirika and I am currently a junior attending Dougherty Valley High School in the Bay Area. I have been doing MUN for the past two years now and have competed in various competitions. MUN has been extremely rewarding for me as it has given me the opportunity to interact with so many new people and grow as an individual through being more well-informed of current affairs. Besides MUN, in my free time I enjoy playing+watching sports, traveling, but most importantly giving back to the community.

Abhinav Vishwanath

Hi, my name is Abhinav and I am currently a Senior at Dougherty Valley High School. I have been doing MUN for 3 years now and I have enjoyed every second of it. From solving the Syrian Crisis to role-playing members of Lyndon B. Johnson's War Room, MUN has allowed me the opportunity to let my inner politics geek fly, giving me an excuse to spend hours of my time delving deep into the complex geopolitical issues facing our world. Outside of MUN I spend my time playing guitar, volunteering at the local senior center, and watching House of Cards. In the future I hope to pursue a career in public service. All in all, I am both honored and excited to be your training director for the SRMUN youth program. Its gonna be a blast!

Vignesh Pandiarajan

Hi! I'm Vignesh, a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. I absolutely love MUN and have been to over 6 MUN conferences, placing well every time. I also serve as an officer at the DV MUN club so our students can seamlessly transition from our program to the high school club. MUN has taught me so much about international geopolitics and made me a far more well rounded person and I would recommend it for absolutely everyone.
